Welcome to Eurodog Boarding Kennels and Cattery – Mijas Costa

Eurodog in Mijas Costa is not a conventional kennel/cattery.
During daylight hours we allow all of the pets to run free within a controlled natural environment, in groups with other pets of a similar size and type. This policy may seem strange to some owners who have pets which sometimes act aggressively with other animals. However at Eurodog, where we maintain a neutral, non-threatening environment, the pets normal instincts to protect their owner and/or their own habitat are not triggered. However we do understand that some owners would not be happy leaving their best friends in this type of environment and we can accommodate your dogs needs as per your requirements.
Dogs are naturally pack animals and in our experience they will socialise happily with others. We have special procedures to introduce pets into the group environment and of course we have to be particularly careful with the larger dogs, where groups have to be smaller for obvious reasons.
Our objective is to provide your pet with an interesting and stimulating vacation where play and rest are equally available within a social environment.
We have found over the years that by allowing dogs to mix in a large open space and not being confined to the parameters of a kennel, they adapt and settle far more quickly reducing stress and anxiety making their stay far more enjoyable.
Having owned numerous pets ourselves over the years, we understand owners concerns for the care of their animals, but rest assured that your best friend will receive the same love and attention as you would bestow upon them whilst they are in our care.
